Blogger blog blogee bleer… where is she? What is she doing? wasn't she supposed to be in…. where again? Buenos Aires? Montreal? Paris? Jerusalem ? Boston ?
Bloggy Blog, what's going on?
From where to start? Let do a small geographical tour together:
I was in South America ….but this you followed on my preview blog.
Then I spent a month in North America in Montreal, do you remember?
I decided not to go forward on my life project in Canada, matter of a personal style of life.
On my way I went to check the Lesley University in Boston, more correctly in Cambridge , Wow ! What a first impression! I was definitely impress by the campus and the program in Expressive Therapies….
Expressive Therapies?
Yes,this is how they call it there… psychotherapy by art, music, dance, literature, drama poetry….all what I love and all what I always wanted to do.
Straight away I decide that will be the place where I will be study !
No fear, I felt strong , I will put all the tools in my side and will go to study in AMERICA!
And its worked out! I ve been accepted into the program and will start on January 22nd 2007.
I spent the summer in Paris…. I was so happy to find all the charm of this city of light especially in August… but September arrived and the Parisian with.
I needed to go away again, then I decide to spend the last months in Europe, and to experience a new country ,,,, Ireland
Dublin is alive
A great city, the center is petty small , with some pedestrian streets. The city is plenty of restaurants , cafes, and of course Pubs.
The traffic is terrible, not because of many cars, there are not so much , but because of the size of the roads.
I love Dublin, because it s an human size city with green parks and water everywhere. You can go to many places just by walking or by biking.
And what I love most is that the city is alive after 7 pm , people are going out, people are shopping, people are simply happy here.
Parties are everywhere, and Festivals are always welcome.
The opening evening of Fringe Festival

Smoking or non smoking?
Doesn't matter, you won't disturb, because here you cannot smoke in places where there are workers…. So no cigarettes in clubs, pubs, restaurants, offices, only outside! Its so great to dance without being disturbed by the smoke, it s just make the party so breathable.
Irish people are drunk most of the time...
Wrong
This is what I thought, I was expecting to see drank people everywhere. I've got this idea from my different trips all over the world, where meeting Irish boys in the dorms completely drunk at 8 o'clock in the morning!. I found out very quickly that the majority are finally very sober. Of course they will drink often beer, the Pub culture is real, but it would happen in the pub, and most of the time they just would become more happy and smiley, and will look to talk to you very naturally.
Irish are cold as Biritish....
Again wrong, they are very very but very friendly and warm person.
They are helpful and supportive. You can see every where charities shops with second hand clothes and accessories. People are giving things to each other very easily. This is how I ve got a few pairs of bicycles for free. I just put an add and we have some people who made a donation of some bicycles to our house (I will tell you more about our house later on). So I am each time impress by the kindness and the behavior of the people here.
Irish boys and girls are cute...
Definitely true….so cute! Physically I found them almost unreal, their eyes and their little noise give them a surrealistic aspect like they were once an extraordinary creatures. We are in a tale life….
The Jewish Purple House….
This is where I live, a great old house, with young from all over the world.(more pictures will come soon)
The house was before a home for old person, who have been transferred to a more modern house. Rabbi Zalman Lent transformed this house to an house for Jewish students and young workers…
Yaniv and Moshe (guests) building the Soucca
Nadav bone soucca....

When I arrived here, we were hardly 3 girls and 5 boys…now we are more than 20 person living under the same roof… of course there is some "Balagan"around here, but we do have a lot of fun as well…
We welcome as well travelers who are looking for accommodation. It’s a good occasion to meet all kind of interesting people.
Irit and Tsvia, Guests from Jerusalem
Caven , One week-end with Tamar…
October 7
Wake up in the morning, let meet at the Bus terminal station…. Where are we going? No idea, well the next bus goes to Caven, let go and experience Caven country.
cute Tamar will stop a car....
Time to open our Lonely Planet, in a special frame it said: something special, a Jampa Ling Buddhist Centre in Bawnboy… sound great, sound gorgeous, perfect for a relaxing week end…we were already exiting by the idea of taking some yoga s class…
From Caven we started to hitch, not so difficult, the last driver who pick us was Father Thomas , the priest of the village.
He knew straight away what we are looking for. He drived us until the Buddah centre but unfortunately we weren't be able to stay there, because a group of person are at the moment in retreat and we cannot disturb. They didn't t let us go without offering a warm cup of tea. Then they ask their friend Romy to drive us to an hostel. She knew about a nice place around, just 10 kms away… At Bellyconnell, the Sandville House running by Claire, a lovely French woman.
What a place, and entire big house, plenty of charm just for us?

Almost… a couple with a teenager came after us, Claire said that we brought her some luck at this time of the year!
What a great evening, talking and laughing, eating and drinking…some tea of course all of us around the fireplace warmed by bogs (what a good smell!)
We spent the next day walking around, until we ve got, out from the very fancy Hotel of the country and ride to …Dublin by a very cute Irish boy (I told you already that Irish boys are cute) who was worry to drive us, worry to be rapt by us, by two nice French Israeli girls?
Anyway we had a great week end….
Killkeny …. A Camphill Kyle Experience
October 15
Zur Family are Israeli and since 4 years are volunteering at Camphill Community in Kyle.
Zur Family:Sahar, Vered, Dror, Yam Boaz and Keshet
(the Red and Brown bowls are Patrick and me!)
This community lives in a farm, and is taking in charge people with special needs and mental disabilities.
It’s a real big Family, Vered and Boaz are running one of the house.
They are not far of 17 people living together in the house.
There is in the farm 2 others families. How great is to be with those people.
My days were very busy, starting with a early breakfast, a morning meeting where Boaz and I taught them the Hebrew song ''Hine Ma Tov Humanaym", baskets or pottery workshop, cooking, visiting the Killkeny art and Study centre runs by Camphill as well, where there is an art training for healthy people and mentally handicapped people, together they are study art.
The villagers seems to be so happy, and understand that anywhere we do need them, and even if they are physically and mentally limited , what they are able to do become essential for the community.
Emma , always smile, Happy she is!
will go to visit them again, they are so great!
Galway and the Aran Islands
October 27
Do you miss the simple French food? So go to Galway, at Java 's restaurant you will be able to have a delicious Salade de chevre chaud, or some vegetable quiches , great tapenade and even some houmous.
But not only that, Galway it s a young city with young people, hanging around. Cafes and restaurants are full. The sea its just around. A kind of a relaxing and friendly town….
but not this week end because Saturday night Australia is playing against Ireland on the Gaelic's football game, here in Galway.
The town is full and there is no accommodation… After visiting the town I took the ferry to Inismor Island.
The Rain a legend?
Of course not, it is real!
I'm singing and dancing in the rain....
Until now we had a great weather in Ireland, sunny days most of the time. I didn t understand well why everyone were asking me if it s raining in Ireland? What they are talking about? In Dublin there is most of the time sunny days.
In Inismor Island I finally understood what is a rain in Ireland, and I liked it….
The rain here is very thin,it s called 'drizzle', you almost don t feel it, the temperature is warm but just wait. I kind of like it, it s just give a accent to the magical atmosphere of this country
So even if I didn't t feel an heavy rain, I finished the walk completely wet!
Those islands are mystical, the vegetation is wild, I had the occasion to go for a walk at night time, it was totally dark outside and wet of course, I felt like being in those W.B Yeats fairy tales….
Roosters go to the Pub too...
On my way back to Dublin , on the bus, I mate Kitty, the cat.
Kitty...the cat!
A cute Irish girl with great stories. I loved the story about her aunt who is a witch and who lives somewhere in Louth and is convince that if we walk in the forest without breaking wood branches then we will see fairies all around…..O' Magic Ireland!
(halloween is coming soon...)

Imprévisible Carmith! Je te savais en Irlande mais je n'imaginais pas
que tu nous concoctais un tel blog sur ce pays. Tu as réussi, car tu
m'as donné envie d'y aller. Franchement, je ne voyais pas le pays comme
cela. A moins que ce soit toi qui transformes ainsi les choses et les
gens. The Carmith touch!
